Frustration

As soon as they came home, Luna burst into outrage. She ripped off her sunglasses in fury and pointed with dismay at her eyes.
“What the HELL is this?!” Luna’s brow furrowed.
“The first few days are shaky. You’ll be reverting back and forth. Your body is getting used to the change,” Iris tried to pacify her daughter.
“DAYS? Why did you let me to go to school? What if, instead of my eyes, I had started to grow fur or even fangs?!” Luna sat on the couch, holding her hand in her heads.
“This sounds like a stupid excuse,” her father said, “But we kind of forgot.”
Luna stared up at her parents in utter disbelief.
“Well, since it looks like I’m stuck in here for the next few days, I’m going to take a shower and go to bed. I didn’t sleep last night,” Luna stalked off in the direction of her room.

Iris and Riley exchanged glances.
