Love does'nt Conquer..Not always anyway

“Wow. I havn’t spoken to you in nearly a whole year. Since you’ve moved, things have changed. I’ve missed you.”

“Really? It’s not the same without you here. The breezes seem colder, the nights seem darker…”

The young girl went on. There was a million words all tangled up in a knotted spiderweb in her stomach. Admitting to true love, wasn’t an easy thing to let a person know about. She looked down at the cool, textured grey concrete, her bare feet were standing on. The gentle rays from the sun, splattered down creating a dapple effect.

The boy standing at her feet, was the one. She hadn’t seen his face for so long now, and the photos beside her bed where wearing because of age.

From behind the shadows, a girl stepped out. Long, flowing blonde hair. It sparkled, just like the way the boy and I used to hold hands. She went beside him, and clasped her hand around his. Fastened it tight.

He was right. Things had changed. True love does’nt always conquer. Sometimes, it fades. Floats away..
