That menacing chuckle rang again in the tiny room. She had no idea where the chilling sound was coming from because the room was pitch black and she was chained to what she suspected to be the middle of the floor.
“I see you are not as weak as I first suspected. But don’t worry. I can soon fix that.” *
His eyes open once again, he studied the pattern the moon illuminated upon the metal floor. Strangely they never seemed to stay in the same spot. They twisted and swirled as if it had a mind of its own. While contemplating this is when he heard the footsteps. Heavily booted feet were making there way to the door of his cell. He held his breath.
