Their Memory (a nation in mourning)
Do we ever count the misery each day we loose someone to war. If we did it would add up to a sum that could never pay enough for the lost.
Can we continue to ignore the many lives it took to fight in a war that matters in life and or death.
What do we loose when so many of our young fall short of meeting their portiential in this world. Our future lay eternaly in a quite sleep. Pride and Glory does not help us heal from a pain that can never be measure by missing that life lost.
The what if’s, the can be’s are but distance echoe lurking in the hearts and minds of thoes who have lost.
A child stands in the distance missing a mom or dad he would never meet having to hear of their memory from love one’s and or other’s. It doesn’t take the place of that parent being there to hold and teach them important lessons in life.
A mother and Father who watched a son and daughter come into adult hood but will never have grandchildren can only imagine what the possibilities could be.
Peace.
