You and Joe decide it’s not safe to cross the desert during such a violent sand storm, so both of you head back to the relative safety of the jungle. Zoe stubbornly decides to go on without you, and you say your goodbyes before parting ways.

You and Joe make it safely back to the trees. While you wait for the storm to stop, you and Joe both fall asleep, weary from your long night of running through the jungle.

A few hours later you both wake up, and you realise two things: the sand storm is over, and your packs are missing.

Go across the desert while looking for Zoe
Go across the desert without looking for Zoe
Abandon the idea of crossing the desert, and look for your packs instead
