Seven Deadly Sins

I thought I wanted the floor to open up and swallow me whole, but now, walking through the blazing fires of Hell, I realized I was wrong. The fire stung my eyes and seered my flesh. It was 100 degrees, at least.

I walked ahead, searching for an exit somewhere, anywhere, but I only came to seven thrones in a gigantic black room. In them sat the seven deadly sins. Sloth was to the extreme right, his eyelids were heavy, he looked like he never heard of sleep. Then sat Envy wearing a green gown that had a long trail at the end, her evil glare burned a hole through my head. To her right was Anger, his wicked expression, cold on his face. Gluttony sat with his fingers in his mouth, trays of food all around him. Lust sat with poise and gentleness, but she offered no kindness. Greed was craving more, I could tell by the tension in the air between us, his smile was crooked. Then, lastly, sat Pride, her chin held high, medals hung freely from her neck.
“Hello there,”

I turned to find Satan standing before me.
