Liz greets Lisa with a hug. “Hey gurl you ready to get goin?”

“Yeah just a sec, I was looking through some photographs in my photo album” Lisa responded, in her usual up beat tone.

Lisa had been looking through it all day. The divorce has caused her bouts of depression. During these bouts, she would be come disconnected and nostalgic.

“So what movie are we seeing again?” .

“uhh in her shoes, if we can make it in time”. Liz answered in a sarcastic tone.

“Sounds like a plan to me.” Lisa replied.

Liz knew Lisa very well, she tried her best to help her out of her dark moods. Liz has been Lisa’s best friend for years. She witnessed her abusive and timultuous marriage, to her ex monster. So she knows that when Lisa gets depressed, that movies are what helps her the most.

Lisa had always been there helping her through her issues with being adopted. So Liz felt obligated to return the favor. And as always, the repayment was always genuine gratitude. To Liz, Lisa is a like the sister she never had.
