The Jonas Robbery Part 5: Caught
We were making our way down the isle. I looked back, and the robber wasn’t there. “Maybe he gave up!” I thought with a surge of relief.
I was still looking behind me when I ran into Nick. He had come to a dead stop.
I turned to see Nick staring up into the face of another, different man dressed in black carrying a gun. An occamplice, I assumed. Joe and Kevin were standing next to Nick. Nick was shaking like a leaf.
Joe looked like a small child about to cry. Kevin looked shocked and fearful. We had no idea what was about to happen next.
The man raised his gun and pressed it against the side of Nick’s head. His hand was on the trigger.
