Memiors of My Life 2/16/08
I’ve never been this exhausted in my life. As soon as I got home from my school’s snowboarding trip, I flopped onto my couch.
“Tom, you can have those chicken wings we picked you up from shooting pool.” My Mom’s voice carried to my ears.
I couldn’t even move, I just groaned, my voice slightly muffled from the leather couch cushion in my face.
I rolled over, and fell onto the rug with a painful thump.
Ouch.
I got up, my head was pounding and muscules aching.
“Im’muh got bed.” I mumbled as I made my way up the stairs. I went down the hall to my bedroom.
I got in, and looked in my dresser mirror.
I ran I hand roughly through my short brown hair as I examined the dark areas under my eyes.
I wish my hair was longer like it used to be.
I wish my eyes were a lighter shade of green. Not hazel.
Yet another wish to change myself, never gonna happen.
I fell onto my bed, and pulled something out of my back jeans pocket.
In the dim light, I stared at my zippo for a little, then lit a small flame, and just watched.
