Darkness Isn't Good For Us
We continued to walk through the park together as the sun set. Then before we kissed again, Owen appeared, pushing me away from Jacob. I fell back against the sidewalk, but my hand caught my fall. “What the hell?” Jacob yelled. Owen was clearly still mad. I crawled away from them. “You need to get away from my girl!” Owen yelled, scaring the other people. I didn’t stop him; my hand was bleeding. Jacob screamed back, “She not you’re girl! I thought you got that!” I went up to a mother with a child and asked if she had her first aid kit. Most mothers carry them around. She had one and gave me a band aid, before calling the cops. I wanted so badly to stop her. Jacob heard the sirens and pushed Owen, “Look what you caused! I haven’t been in trouble for months! I’m dead now!” He was about to take off running but then he remembered me. Owen was still yelling, but now Jacob was ashamed that I saw this. The cop reconziged him right away. “Jacob Carrier, why am I not surprised to see you.”
