Meaning Alot by Just a Little

The cracking of hand against cheek was like an explosion to me.
I stood up from my desk to fast I knocked it over. Macy raised her hand to retaliate, but I grabbed the shoulders of both girls, standing between them.
I whipped my head over to Macy. I just shook my head at her when she opened her mouth to speak.
I looked at Kirsty.
“In case you haven’t noticed, we used to be friends.” I whispered. “I have so much dirt on you, I can make your life miserable.”
Kirsty’s snarl turned into an impassive expression. she sat down without a word. I sat down and i motioned for Macy to do the same.
Biggest bluff ever.
After a long silence and the screeching of me picking up my desk, class started back up and soon after ended.
The school day ended quickly, and the afternoon just started with Macy just quietly crying in my shoulder over the stress of the day while I kiss her cheek where Kirsty slapped her.
“It’s okay.” I said. “We’ll have detention tomorrow together.”
It was stupid to say that, but I meant a lot by it.
