Lunch-More Like Stalking Period
They sat through math, history and the rest. During lunch, Lilith and her gang circled Sora like hungry hyenas. The only thing that kept them away was Aysen’s presence.
“Seriously now; Who do they think they are?” Aysen growled.
“It’s not their fault,” Sora sighed.
“What?!”
“Their father is really harsh. I can understand them,” Sora set down her lunch. “I remember him very clearly. Mother always tried to protect me. At least she thought I was good enough.”
“How can you be so kind?” Aysen tore at a steak.
“I don’t know; Guess it’s natural,” Sora picked at her food.
“Is that all you’re going to eat?”
“I don’t really have an appetite,” Sora smiled bleakly.
Aysen shrugged. He continued his meal. Then he choked.
“HEY! Hold it! Isn’t it true that humans-”
Sora clapped a hand over his mouth, concealing his fangs.
“Quiet, idiot, before you’re discovered by the whole freaking school!” she hissed in his ear.
“Sorry,” he cleared his throat and spoke in a lower tone.
“Isn’t it true that if humans don’t eat, they die?”
