Carolyn shuffled silently to class.She was filled with different emotions that boiled inside her.First,embarrassment,then suspicion,next,stupidity,finally,mystery.All those emotions were being mixed-up and stirred until they reached the for of one big mass,an ameoba.Carolyn wanted to interrogate every last person in her school,but she didn’t have time for that now.The door creaked and squeaked loudly as she opened the door,making ever eye in the room zoom in on her.The classroom was silent for a moment,then Mr.Huckelbee cleared his throat and sayed in his boomy voice,’‘Carolyn Carter,you are five minutes late,what do you have to say for yourself?’‘Carolyn didn’t reply,she just obediently sat in her desk andglanced around the room for suspects as Mr.Huckelbee sarted receiting one of Edgar Allan Poe’s poems.When Carolyn’s eye met Rachel’s,the meanest girl in school,Rachel merely smirked evily.’‘Excuse me,Ms.Carter,but you go to school to learn not gauke.’‘Mr.Huckelbee said.He was really getting on her nerves.
