“All people do have the capacity for both good and evil. The only thing that makes us choose one side more than the other is emotion. If we were to imitate robots, there would be no remorse, pity, just survial in it’s purest form. That is all I have for today,” the guest lecturer concluded.

It rings true to me, but it’s against what I believe in. Maybe what I heard is true. Maybe emotions outside of happiness are just different levels of pride.
