Dog Attraction Phenomenon
Coco fell asleep on my lap that night. I dozed off in a chair. When I woke up, it was night; I guess Kazuma had pitied me and hadn’t woken me up.
He is the best brother.
“You look cute when you’re asleep,” there was a chillingly familiar voice behind the chair.
I leaped up.
Nah, it can’t be him. The doors are all locked, I thought. Boy, was I wrong.
“Who’s there?” I said, holding up my kendo sword. Good thing it was standing behind the TV.
“Oh,” the voice whimpered, “You don’t need that.”
“Hell yeah, I do. Who are you?” I tried to peer in the darkness.
Surprisingly, Coco wasn’t barking or growling. What she did instead made my jaw drop.
She went up to the window and rolled over on her tummy; She does that when she’s begged to be petted.
I jumped forward and avoided whatever was standing there. My hand reached out and I ripped the curtains open.
Suddenly, I was looking into Ryuuki’s turquoise eyes.
