Why do you hurt me? I can feel pain too.
Why do you kick me and slap me? Was I a bad dog?
Just because I can’t speak or use technology doesn’t mean I am any different than you are. Aren’t you supposed to love me? Why do you treat me so scornfully?
Why do you test on me? Dogs aren’t supposed to smoke, wear makeup or hairspray. I’m scared of needles too!
I cry, I whimper, I scream. Just like you do.
