Ficlets

Cosmo

I hadn’t seen him in ten years, but the attraction was definatly still there.
“Well look what we have here?” I said in a sexy tone, waltzing up to him at the bar. “Good ol’ Craig Vuono.”
“Naomi!” he said, sounding genuinly happy to me. “You sure have…changed since the last time I saw you.”
“Not the brace-faced, short banged, unfashionable freshmen you remember, huh?” I sure had changed. My braces were off, contacts repaced my glasses, and my fashion sense definatly has changed. But he was still the martini drinking, music lovin’, sexy guy I remember.
“Can I buy you a drink?” Craig asked me.
“Sure that be great.”
“Cosmopolitan for the lady, please, barkeep.”
He still remembered.
“You remember!”
“Mais oui, mademoiselle,” he said in that perfect French that made me swoon. “How could I forget my favortie girl’s favorite drink?”
