The Jonas Robbery Part 21: Going Home
“Well, where am I supposed to take you boys?” Mom asked. “Don’t you need to go home to your parents or something?”
“Well,” said Kevin, “Our parents dropped us off at the store and said they would come back in a few hours.”
“Well, it’s been like four or five hours. They’re probably worried sick,” I told them.
“Oh my God it has?!” Nick exclaimed.
“Okay, we better call,” Nick said.
“No,” said Kevin, “Um, can we come home with you and call our parents from your house?”
“Sure,” my mother and I exclaimed at the same time.
“Okay,” laughed Kevin.
We all piled back into the car. This time was a little harder because of my cast.
I felt slightly embarrassed when we arrived at my house. I imagined that it was about one eighth the size of their house.
“Aww, cute house,” said Joe.
My face turned red as I smiled at him.
