I Had To See Her
It was a dark and stormy night…ok maybe that is a little clique. The moon gave off an eary glow that seem to light up the streets like lamps. It wasn’t really stormy either. It was more of a heavy rain with thunder every now and then. Ok, so I exagerrated, but this is my story not yours. Anyways, the rain was blurring my vision so not even the light of the moon was of much help to me. I shrank behind a tree, fearing that somebody would see me and report me to the police. No one could know I was here, hopefully not her.I peered out from around the tree. Most of the houses were dark inside so it gave me hope that no one would notice this strange man on the streets. I had to find her. It was important that I could hold her in my gaze. I crept behind the bushes, knowing her house was only a few away.
And there it was. There was a light on upstairs, her blinds partly open. I personally know how much she loves the rain. Standing outside her window I wait. I wait for that one glimpse of her. I had to see her.
