“Some people never change” I said as I looked at Pete. I flipped my hair at him and we walked away. I never looked back and Jacob held my hand. Hannah waved goodbye to Pete. While walking away I had time to think. Pete WAS giving me the guilt trip! There was no way he could have changed his mind that fast! And that look on his face half sad and half smirked. I don’t know why I didn’t see it. He never cared! He was just like all those other guys. Like the ones that see girls as an item. Just like Owen! I clinched my fist and tightened my grip on Jacob. He looked at me and I looked at him. He just seemed to know why I was angry all of the sudden. Jacob turned around and looked and I saw him put his hand up. He probably flipped Pete off. “What did you just do to Pete?” I asked him. “Just gave him a does of me to let him know we don’t forgive him.” I didn’t say anything after that, but he knew I meant to say, thank you.
