Yes, he was. I spent most of my time writing it thinking, “I am not going to cry.” But it’s true, though. It snowed the day my dad died, and I was never able to enjoy the first snowfall of winter until my son was born.

I think I’m going to make him some French toast this weekend. :)

He turned 8 in November. And he’s the joy of my life. I absolutely adore him. :)
