The Jonas Robbery Part 40: Cold In Oklahoma
“Carson?! Oh my God! I have a best friend that lives there!” I shouted. “I haven’t seen her in at least a year. It’s so hard, with my living in Illinois and all.”
“I’m sure we could take you to see her,” said Mrs. Jonas.
“But,” I said, “I don’t want to take up your time. You’re so busy as it is.”
“Well, we could drop you off for a few hours, or even for the night, and then come pick you back up,” she told me.
“Okay,” I said. “That’s a good idea, ‘cause she can take me shopping for some clothes. I feel gross wearing the same thing I wore yesterday.”
“Alright,” Kevin replied, “we’ll drop you off at your friends house over night and then pick you back up in the morning. I doubt you wanna come to another concert anyway.”
I laughed. I really did want to go to another concert, but my ankle was very sore from walking around so much (even with my crutches) and I worried that if I didn’t get a break soon, I would hurt it worse.
As we got closer to Oklahoma, it became colder and colder.
