Time for Me to Fly 10

The day passed by slowly, probably because it was the last day before Spring Break. When the final bell rung I thought I heard every person in the class sigh.

As I walked to the car with Dizzy by my side, I began to dread our soon-to-be conversation. I would have to tell her now. I opened the car door slowly, dragging out every motion until I couldn’t wait any longer. By the time I got in she was giving me one of her classic looks.
“What was that?” She asked.
“What are you talking about?” I said ignoring the fact that I had just taken about five minutes to get into the car. She shook her head at me.
“So are you going to tell me where we are going yet?” Her voice wasn’t annoyed, just interested.
I took a deep breath, here it goes.
