Everyone's Friend

Daisy sighed impatiently. Her father, Isaac, looked down at her, smiling. “Yes, Daisy?â€? he said.

“I want to walk,â€? she said, pointing to the expanse of open country roads before them. They continued onward, Daisy skipping ahead of him.

“Where are we going today?â€? he called. She smiled over her shoulder at him.

“Don’t look before you leap, you’ll ruin the surprise,â€? she said in a sing-song voice. Isaac smiled at her cheerfulness. Her optimism never failed to amaze him. She always took an opportunity to brighten someone’s day. Maybe, they were on their way to cheer up one of her friends right now.
