Time for Me to Fly 20
I felt little arms wrap around my waist from behind. I turned around and picked him up, (he was heavy so it took a little bit of a heave) and gave him a quick squeeze.
“How have you been little man!” I said looking at Nathan’s face. He had grown so much!
“Good.” He smiled. His two front teeth were missing.
“Look at that! Nat, when did you lose those?” I pointed at the gaping holes in his smile.
“Two weeks ago.” He said proudly. I put him back down on the ground.
My mom tapped me on the shoulder and I whirled around, Dizzy was kind of hanging back, watching all that was going on. I walked over to her and pushed her lightly foward.
“Everyone!” I said sweeping my arm dramatically towards Dizzy, “This is my best friend Dizzy.”
