Kiss and Tell
As my watch flashed three, a pain seized my stomach, all too familiar. I maintained firm control over my body, leaning close to whisper some nonsense in Isabel’s ear. She had changed, to me, and was no longer friend material. She was just appetizing.
I took her hand, led her toward the back rooms. There were three at the end of the darkened hallway, the first two were occupied, the last was empty. It was a small bedroom, a queen size bed propped against the far wall, moonlight streaming in through the window. I took her hands, “How romantic.” I murmured, she laughed. I led her to the bed and laid her down, kissing her lips and face. I moved to her neck, back to her lips, I didn’t want her to get suspicious yet.
Someone tried the locked doorknob, there was laughter in the hall. She moved beneath me, kissed me back, using the same pattern. I moved in to her neck, nuzzling, ready for the final kiss. She yelped before I had even bit her, and I sat up and turned to look.
There she was, next to the closet.
