My head finally started to clear, I was soon in complete consciousness again. I scrambled for my normal functions, and amazingly grasped ahold of my voice box through the clearing fog.

My smile held. “Oh, it’s fine. Not to sound rude or anything, but why are you here?” Hey, I was curious. I wanted to know if my friends had paid them.

I let my eyes sweep over the amazing boys. They all looked so different; their eyes and smiles revealed so much about them. Joe looked so ecstatic, like he was truly happy to be alive. Kevin had the sweetest look I had ever seen. And of course, there was Nick. He stood there, possibly the most gorgous thing I have ever seen in my life. He looked so mysterious, but so sweet at the same time.

“Well, um, it’s kind of a long story,” Kevin said, looking around nervously. He was clearly checking for fangirls.

“Oh!” I realized. “Do you, um, want to come in?” Did I just invite the Jonas Brothers into my house?

“Yeah, that’d be great!” Kevin replied. Oh God. I did.
