I shivered as a breeze blew across me. Just as the shivers stopped someone wrapped a wool blanket around my shoulders.

“You should have brought a heavier coat,” he says helpfully
“The weather man said it would only go down to the 50’s” I argued

He simply smiled. I feigned a punch.

“Waiting in this line was your idea anyway,” I mumbled
“But it’s the third installment. I just had to get this one. There were rumors about a completely moded combat system and sick graphics engine,” he began rambling.

I smiled. When he finally stopped to catch his breath I gave him a little kiss.

“You’re so cute,” I laughed.
He pulled me close against him.

“Thanks for waiting with me,” he said
“I wanted to,” I answered

And I did. Four hours and two cups of coffee later,he finally got the game. He was so excited. Seeing him so glad made it worth the cold and long lines. Afterall I love my crazy gamer boyfriend. Besides I couldn’t wait to kick his butt in versus mode.
