Yes.
Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock.
Ringgggggg.
The bell rang to go to lunch. Oh No. Lunch.
My anticipation was growing as I neared the cafiteria. Caleb was already at his usual table with his football buddies, laughing up a storm. When he saw me, his face turned to stone and he said goodbye to his friends. He started to get up and slowly walk towards me.
“Amber….”
“Look, If you’re gonna break up with me then get it over with.”
“Oh! Oh no, nothing like that. Why would you think that?”
Haa. What typically movie like of me. I am soo blonde sometimes.
“Well, what was It then? Why’d you want to talk?”
“Ummm… well I was meaning to tell you, but right after you left the hospital the other night, Sydney came to see me. And we started to talk and she was concerned and ….. eventually she asked me out again. And… umm…. I said yes.”
