Last Stop
She was the most wonderful woman i had ever laid my eyes on. I was so young and so madly crazy she had walked off the local train. With only one suit case to her right, She was looking for a new start in the world run away from her past and never look back for the fear of it catching up to her.
I never spoked to her on the first day. I only starred upon her presence.
It had to be weeks before i saw her again.
She was at a local hot dog stand ordering a plain hot dog with nothing on it. I had notice she was fumbling with her bag to get the money to pay with.
I had slipped in with a five and paid for her meal.
“Thank you mister.” She said to me
with a little sparkle in her eyes
We had walked together to her building and i watched as she walked away but not without a goodbye.
Thats how it all started with us.
We couldn’t stop seeing each other.
Every day was so special to us.
“So why did you kill her.”
“If you knew what love is you would understand i couldn’t watch as the disease leaves her in pain.”
