All I heard was the waves crashing down,
the salty coolness cover my feet,

I was all alone,
I could do anything I wanted,

but I just froze there crushed into a ball,
watching the sun fade into the horizon,

I could hear something behind me,
but I coulden’t make out what it was,

was it a car door slam,
or just my imagionation trying to confuse me?

what ever it was I could hear it getting closer,
my heart beat faster when I heard footsteps,

I suddenly turned around and saw my mother,
“Are you ok?”
