Andrew was walking out of his fifth hour class, still daydreaming about Beth. He knew he had no chance at all with her, but why not try? After all, isn’t that what being a teenager is all about?

He was walking to his locker to gather his books for his next class. He saw his best friend Eric, the chess nerd, and immediately ran over him and explained what had happened. Eric was amazed.
