She stopped, looked at him. “Hi, How are you?” she said with a surprised but cheerful tone.
“I’m alright. Just a bit bored. So glad school’s almost over”
“Oh I know! But I still have so much work to do!”
“haha, you do? I have absolutely nothing to do, I have like one class this year, and that’s Community Involvement. think I go to that?”
“no. I’m guessing you don’t”
“nop. want some company?”
“yeah, sure”
They walked to her house and for the first time in years she did not have any thing going on in her mind making her worry about everything else. It surprised her how easily they were able to talk after like 6 years.
They reached her backyard…
“Woa, that thing is still up?” Jon pointed at the tree, his face: amazement.
“Of course, why wouldn’t it?”
“I heard it was taken down”
“I would never let anyone take it down”
...silence…
“Wanna climb it?” Jon inquired
“haha, okay” She said happily
They sat for a good 15 minutes.
Suddenly, Jon said “I miss you” under his breath.
“What happend to us?”
