Somehow I’m picturing a serious “ugly duckling” scenario, although the image I get from your stories is that Jenna is anything but ugly. I’m thinking QBotU from two stories back is just jealous. ;)

I like that she examines herself in the mirror, wondering what he sees in her. It’s a very authentic response to an unexpected compliment. And, I’m also getting that “ugly duckling” feel.
