You Take My Breath Away (Retro Music Challenge)

Teenagers in the heat of the moment, Jimmy and Michelle were hot and heavy. She pressed the emergency stop button, stationing the elevator in between floors. They kissed passionately, while she led his nervous hands places they’d never been. He was starting to feel guilty like he was engaging in original sin.

“Stop it! Stop giving me love bites!” Jimmy yelped. “My youth pastor said we should draw our line in the sand and not cross it.”

“But, I want you to want me,” she said, disappointed.

“Believe me, I do. I just don’t want to make love in an elevator.”

“Oh, my God. You’re like a virgin, aren’t you? Why do you have to be such a goody two shoes? Live a little.”

“Please, don’t be cruel. I just always kind of pictured it differently, that’s all.”

“How do you picture it?” she asked.

“In a bed. Sheets soft as your lips. With candles. And the perfect song. We just kind of look into each other’s eyes and I melt with you.”

“Sometimes you take my breath away,” she smiled.
