The Sad, Hard truth

Georgia stands at her window.. she observes the world on the outside. She feels isloated and alone. Not unusual for her. She always feels this way. For reasons that are complicated and lengthy.

She feels saddened. Pain surges through her heart. She feels a heavy feeling in her chest. Without warning she starts to cry. Her mind unleashes all these painful truths. They never believed in me, she thought to herself. Why didn’t they expect anything of me, was I a dissapointment to them? Was I not something to be proud of? She asked herself again.

She thought about her siblings and how they seemed to have it all. Everything they could ever want or need they had. And somehow she felt she always recieved the shorter end of the stick. Her parents loved her obviously, but it was a diffrent kind of love. They didn’t expect very much of her, never encouraged her. Everything she wanted to do was met with questions and doubts..She never felt good enough in thier eyes. She always felt she stood out from her siblings.
