Cyclops?
We lived a mile from a nuclear power plant.
At night while putting out the trash I saw something skitter by out of the corner of my eye.
I clanged together trash can lids, and out ran this thing, this hideous one -eyed creature glared at me menacingly.
It’s fur was white and matted, the pink around it’s deformed lips, curled into a grin that sent chills up and down my spin, I yelled, “Mom, dad, come out quick!!”
The thing, the cyclops ..whatever it was scurried under the deck and out of sight.
“What’s all the noise going on out here,” mom said.
“I.. I saw something it was horrible looking, mom, it had one eye, it.. it was fury white,” I stammered excitedly.
“All right, no more candy for you son, back inside,” dad said.
“Where’s Fluffy? Here Fluffy.. Fluffy,, ?, ” mom called for our cat.
With that evil looking cyclops thing lerking about, I was certain we would never be seeing Fluffy again.
