He sighed. “They never guarded it. The Carast Province is already rebuilding it.” We proceeded to talk about the recent events in detail. Apparently Barkhas wasn’t the only person who knew of the worldly political state. I hadn’t known, but Sephith had defended the City of Mousepeople while training a bit there. He then fled with millions of others to Caterbloom City, where he helped magically construct Fort Caterbloom, and finally transferred back to Grentle to teach.
