Full circle
Jocinda looked at Hunter’s Catfish. “So… what are we going to do now?”, she asked somewhat impatiently.
“I’sh already done.”, slurred one of the two little hamster creatures near her foot.
“Of course… the mice talk too!!”, Jocinda stated rather undiplomatically.
“Hey… Don’t get shmart on ush.”, stated the other hamster-like creature on the floor. Both hamsters (for lack of any other term) staggered to the leg of the table and tried several times to make it up to the table top. For some reason all they managed to do was hug the leg of the table, hump up a few inches, then fall on to their backs on the ground and wiggle their little legs in the air in a rather undignified manner.
Jocinda did her best to suppress her snickers. Failing this, she pulled the bar out of her pocket and snacked on it while waiting for the rodents to get control of themselves.
Hunter’s Catfish looked aghast at Jocinda. “Help them!!”, he insisted.
