Runaway
I had always seen my father hit my mother in the kitchen as I just sit with my hands over my ears.
I had always wanted to run away but I was always too scared of what may happen if I was caught by my father.
We were prisoners in our own home.
It wasn’t till I was at the age of fifteen when I ran as fast as I could away from home. With only the clothes on my back!
I had gotten on a train. That was going south bound far away from where I had resided.
I had met a follow man on the train he was tall and very bright he wasn’t to much older then me.
“Am Bobby but people call me the streets since I always have lived on the streets.â?
“And I welcome you to the escape of all reality train.â?
“Your past is always washed away when you’re on this train.â? Good way to start fresh you might say.
I had watched the sunlight go down I had thought about home but I didn’t miss it. I was at last free.
