We all fall down / but you refuse to get back on your feet again…

Four simple words, the truest words, the words that just so happen to be one of my favorite songs.
We All Fall Down by All Time Low.

In just a fragment of the song, All Time Low describes life (and its challenges) almost perfectly. When I first saw these lyrics, I was in awe, wonderment, and maybe I was even a little envious.
We do all fall down, and there will always be those who don’t want to get up. If you listen to the rest of the song, it kind of teaches us that we have to help them up or else…well, they’re gone.

I think the key word is “again” because it shows how we can get back up, and it’s not impossible. Believe me, I’ve gotten back up, and I’m sure many of you have too. That’s why I picked this song, these lines, because we can relate and maybe even have our own story based on those words.
And to me, that’s what it really means to write a song.
