She Could See
It was as if she was waking up for the first time if her life. Finally, she could she it. The other side. The good side. Compared to what she could see now, she was blind before.
She could see it all. Hope. Love. Faith. Happiness. She could see it in their faces.
Could she really have not seen this before? What did she see? Only the bad side. Loneliness. Regret. Hopelessness. Only the bad side of things, the bad side of the world. So she felt it too. Felt alone. Lonely. And hopeless.
But this had maken her, wake up. She could see now, that people loved her. Her. The person she thought no one could love. And it made her open her eyes. She could almost feel that weight lift from her back.
And then she felt something strange, foreign, on her face. A smile. And they laughed, they cried, and then they hugged her.
There was no need for words.
