One Year Earlier…..

“Wow, our concert was awesome”, said Will.
“This whole season has been amazing, its just awesome, like how far we’ve come”, I replied.
“Yeah, but we wouldn’t have been able to do it without our amazing violists” he gave me a playful nudge.
I turned to face him, lost in his blue eyes.
“It was great to meet you, Lindsey”
“It was great to meet you, too, Will”
I smiled and kissed his cheek, and we exchanged a prolonged look, as if trying to hold onto the moment forever. Then he turned and walked away. Away, and out of my life forever, or so I thought…
