Jenny Tells All

“Wait a minute,” Detective Walsh interrupted, “why did giving up the girl keep Trazelli favorable?”

“You call yourself a detective?!! She was his bastard child!” admonished Jenny.

“Okay, so how did Petunia know?”
Jenny leaned in as if divulging a great secret. “She was best friends with the mother. And here’s the kicker,” her voice reduced to a whisper. “Trazelli had Petunia’s ex-boyfriend kill that woman!” She giggled like this information was darkly entertaining in its secret, evil way.

“What’s his name?”
“Dunno. We called him Hulk. He was big, and strong, and so nice, until he had to do a job. Then afterwards, he would disappear. He still works for Trazelli.”

“He could be the one who Trazelli sent to Miss Petunia’s?”
“Could be, but it’s been a long time since I’ve seen him. He’s probably involved somehow, though.”

“You have been most helpful. I will do what I can to dismiss your charges. And what would they be?”
“Armed robbery, drugs, domestic stuff.”

“At Trazelli’s bidding?”
“You got it!”
Right.
