To be quite honest, I’m not quite sure where I’m going with this section, but I wanted to get it out before tomorrow. I was thinking of some sort of allusion to Lazarus, but wasn’t sure how to work it. Let me know what you think, if it works or if I need to make adjustments.
I didn’t expect the religious angle. It’s interesting to think that Liam might have been religious. As usual this is well-written and introduces a new layer to Liam’s character. One minor thing – and don’t quote me on this because I’m not religious, but I think the term ‘pastor’ is used among Protestants rather than Catholics… ah yeah, I heart Google. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pastor It just jarred me a little for some reason.
I think the Easter connection worked perfectly, when you keep in mind that Easter is actually the celebration of the resurrection. We have two characters in one way or another resurrected, but to the status of being abominations in contrast to saviors. That would make for one heck of a psychological conundrum for the person involved. Great addition.
