Went to the inspiration page and clicked on the “view another” first line five times with my eyes closed; then did the same with the last line. Then I tried to write a middle. Not a first line I’d ever have consciously picked for myself, so I’m glad I was stuck with it even if the result is a little deranged. I’m describing the method here in the hope that others will try something similar if they haven’t already. Good ficleting, everyone!

Good idea. I will have to try that in a little while. (Been working hard all day, back is aching, feet hurt, head is throbbing – so.. I will try later.) :)
