This is a story about a girl, and her name is Emma. Emma is not famous; she has not climbed any mountains, written any books, or been in any films. As a matter of fact there is nothing special about Emma at all, except her one and only vice, photography.
Emma has a normal life in a normal town; she lives with a normal family and does normal things. However there was something that made Emma stand out in a crowd, and that was her camera. Emma had an old Polaroid camera, she recieved that camera on her 12th birthday and has never had it out of her sight since.
Yet Emma’s photographs were a secret for many years and this is why. Emma’s parents were very religious, Emma was not. Emma did not belive in god or a greater being, she placed her faith in science and other reliable facts of the world. Yet Emma’s photographs depicted a very, very
un-christian worldview. Her photographs are sad and show what many would call the scum of the earth or the bottom-feeders of todays society. Yet they are beautiful.
