Shed The Tears That Sting Your Eyes
I paced all over the house.
Up the stairs.
Down the stairs.
In the attic.
In the basement.
In my room.
In the bathroom.
In my parents room.
I had been looking at my feet the entire time, so I was suprised to find myself back in my room. I’d been pacing for an hour and thirteen minutes. My neck had this terrible ache, so I plopped down on my bed and closed my eyes. My eyes burned as if I had just watched hours of TV, but this time they hurt from crying.
I didn’t realize I had been doing it. I concentrated so much on thinking of a way out of the situation that I had become oblivious to the things around me. I ran my hand over the bruise on my knee from where I had run into a corner.
2AM.
Fell asleep.
2:01AM.
Dreamt of Hayden.
4:58AM.
Faced the truth.
1:22PM.
Dumped him.
