And Her Name Is Emma... (Chapter 4)
Ben scoured the city streets for hours trying to find his daughter. He even called the police for their help in the search (of course he had no help from Mary as she had collapsed in a crying heap when Ben found out what she did to Emma).
However when Ben arrived home he found Emma in the lounge room looking very worried.
He asked her where she had been and she said that she went to her friend Jamie's house.
When Ben told her she new of the abuse Mary was inflicting on her, Emma took her father into her room and sat him on her bed. She was scared but took a deep breath and said these exact words " Dad when I was twelve you gave me a camera. I loved that present and used it a lot more than you know."
A look of confusion swept across Ben's face. Emma continued " When Mary would hit me I would go to the city streets and photograph the people and things I saw."
Emma then reached for the shoebox she kept her images in, only to find it gone…
