Pressure

Everybody sing, like it’s the last song you will ever sing

The music is pounding. I let it wash over me. It’s easier than facing the facts.

Tell me tell me do you feel the pressure now?

Yes. And it’s weighing me down. Everything, all this pressure everyone is putting on me. They all expect so much. I just want that pressure, gone.

Everybody live, like it’s the last day you will ever see.

That’s exactly what I plan on doing. I don’t want to care anymore. I just feel like saying, “you know what, screw everything else.” Don’t you ever feel like that? In your darkest hours? It’s dangerous. And it’s exactly where I am now.

Tell me tell me, can you feel the pressure now

Are you scared? Me too.

Alright, so you think you’re ready?

When is someone ever ready for this? Can you really ever be completely ready?

Ok then you say this with me, go!

Go. I grab the blade and position it right. I shut my eyes, and let the music take over me again.

We were born for this
